Green Valley Public School Jahu is situated on the left side and western end of Jahu Township i.e., south of Jahu-Hamirpur Road at about 1 Km from Jahu Bus Stand. Jahu is a small township but is well connected with all the district headquarters , state headquarters and to NCR Delhi through bus routes. This is at a beautiful confluence of three district corners that of Mandi, Hamirpur and Bilaspur of HP and also three pereniel rain fed-rivers viz., Jabothi, Sir and Sunehal khuds. It is also covered by Vaira Garh, Kahloor and Mewa area. This is on the border of erstwhile new and old Himachal.

School History

Green Valley Public School Jahu was started by Green Valley Public School Society Jahu Tehsil Bhoranj Hamirpur (HP) a educational society duly registered under Societies registration Act 1860 vide registration no Hmr/10/89 on 14 April 1989.

It started with strength of 20 students in pre-primary section. In its initial period, it was run in rented accommodations, but then a healthy and Enlighted response from the local parents, and also while the management strength grew stronger financially and spiritually, seeking new heights and comforts in the field of education, managing society constructed its own four storied building covering an area of about two kanals and developed a sports ground of about twelve kanals.
